As said in all other reviews, this business and owner Glenn should be avoided by all. My amp went in for a repair and was quoted $300 to fix it, which sounded a little high but ultimately it would cost more to replace. Long story short is the amp was never fixed and I was charged $460 on my credit card the day I dropped the amp off. It has taken 6 months to pickup the amp and get my money back, which was only coughed up after contacting the ACCC and sending a letter threatening legal action.

One look at his workshop (?) should have been enough to set the alarm bells ringing but this cretin was full of bluster and assured me he could remedy the ails of my Stereo for a $45 deposit.

0 stars. I beg you not to use this man. Glenn, ( I actually feel sorry for him) is totally incompetent. My intention was to get fixed a good late 90's Yamaha amp and multi cd player. Result, total failure, loss of equipment, $250 thrown away and probably 2 phone calls a week for the last 3 months. I realise that this review is useless and will probably only be read AFTER you have toxic dealings with this man. But what else can you do. I actually wrote to ACA and Today Tonight about this as it would have been great tv. I BEG YOU NOT TO ENTER HIS SHOP, YOU WILL BE SCARRED AS A RESULT. Peter (Glenn...retire, you are hurting yourself and everyone you encounter!)

The CD unit was non playable and returned. The receipt was lost : the book was at the other workshop he said. This scenario was repeated two more times over a period of a year.

I went in to collect my money and was strung along by another lie that "the check" had bounced. The ultimatum was given that in two days time I would be back to collect the money, and I would be accompanied by two other people.

People who have been scammed by Radio Electronics need contact each other so that legal action can be taken for those who have been hung out to dry.

Wish I had never trusted Glen.Naively had some very expensive equipment serviced at considerable expense. The problem that one item was sent in to have repaired still existed on return. He explained that this part could not be repaired or replaced Told me he had spent many hours repairing dry solder joints and replacing faulty components. Prices he quoted after inspection of 2 items were approx half what he finally charged me which came to around $1600. He still has one other vintage component that was apparently repaired at a cost of $450 only for me to get it home and find it was not fixed. Returned it and he told me it would be ready the following week. I have since heard all of the excuses as mentioned in other reviews like he had a friend coming over tonight and they would sort it out and I would have it back Monday. Since found that he screens his calls and have proved this by using multiple phones on different occasions when he would not answer. This guy does not give receipts and and you can not trust his quotes or his ability to fix electronics. He is full of excuses, does not answer his phone and is totally dishonest in the way he conducts his business. I am now seeking legal advice.

Whenever I followed up his excuses ranged from : a friend from Sydney was going to look at it : it's at the other workshop : I've been in hospital (twice!) : the original part was faulty :The dogs ran away (twice!) : I'm closing up shop : I'm starting an apprentice who'll fix it. Others were simply outrageous including bogus phone and fax numbers. He also said he had it at home being tested but I still couldn't get it back.

Ps the only reason he gets a star at all is because this won't let me publish this review without it

He repaired the tape deck (belts) simply enough and gave me a spiel about what a great CD unit it was now it was going so well and a bill of $660 dollars cash...but no receipt. Perhaps the Tax Office should be involved?

When I got the Dept Of Fair Trading involved and he even lied to them. I finally moved interstate with the still to be repaired CD player and he gave me the name of a business owned by his brother-in-law who he had spoken to and would finish the job. Neither ever existed. A local business fixed it for $70.
